The “Laboratório de Ecologia e Ornitologia” –  LEO (Laboratory of Ecology and Ornithology) is based on the "Universidade Federal de Viçosa" – UFV (Federal University of Viçosa), state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and is coordinated by Prof. Leonardo Esteves Lopes. We conduct scientific research on a broad range of topics, including bird taxonomy, biogeography, natural history, behavioral ecology, and conservation.
